Multiple renewable feedstocks

Blue Fuel Energy will produce Blue Fuel™ using electricity generated with the best available sources of renewable raw energy available, be it wind, hydro, geothermal, solar, tidal or wave, or from renewable biomass and organic waste. Blue Fuel™ Energy will not generate the electricity we require, but rather, purchase it from BC Hydro and Power Authority, the BC Government-owned power utility that operates 30 hydroelectric facilities, or from independent renewable power producers, of which there is a growing number in the province. We will also use water, and waste carbon dioxide, which is only renewable as long as natural gas processing plants and other smokestack industries continue to generate streams of carbon dioxide in flue gases being emitted from their facilities. Using carbon dioxide to produce Blue Fuel™, of course, is fundamental to our vision of a carbon neutral fuel.
