The Team

Juergen Puetter
President, CEO
Upon realizing the significance of the extraordinary convergence of renewable methanol feedstocks in northeastern BC, in 2008 Mr. Puetter founded Blue Fuel Energy to provide jurisdictions with low carbon fuel standards with the ideal low-carbon fuel — renewable Blue Fuel Methanol. Mr. Puetter has a long history of converting innovative ideas into successful businesses, including Bionaire (air purification), Hydroxyl (water purification), and Aeolis Wind (wind power). Recognizing Mr. Puetter’s accomplishments, in 2007 the Government of Canada appointed Mr. Puetter as chairman of Sustainable Development Technology Canada, SDTC. SDTC is a foundation created by the government to support development of innovative technological solutions for issues such as climate change, air quality, clean water, and clean soil. SDTC has the largest budget of any such organization in the world.
